Everybody has a dark side, right? Tommy Franklin found his with his third ‘Jungle Rat’ Chevrolet Camaro, destined for Pro Nitrous competition again in 2025. Jerry Bickel Race Cars Inc. was tasked with the build yet again and in true JBRC fashion, they did not miss. Paint by Jeff Hoskins laid down the familiar Franklin paint scheme but with new twists and color layout, showing off a new dark look for the three-time world champion.

Pat Musi Racing Engines continues to provide the horsepower between the frame rails along with continued support from Red Line Synthetic Oil, Hoosier Racing Tire, Menscer Motorsports LLC, Liberty’s Gears, Ty-Drive, FuelTech USA and more. The laptop will slide across Jeff Pierce Race Car Tuning’s desk again for the 2025 season in which they will be fighting it out to reclaim the crown and drop $25,000 in the bank account for winning the PDRA Racing Pro Nitrous world championship.

New car build progress continues but it is coming together in a hurry and will find its way to a racetrack soon… keep your eyes peeled in the shadows, you may see the Jungle Rat III lurking and ready to strike.
