NASCAR legend Tony Stewart and his wife, NHRA driver Leah Pruett, were recently thanked for their heartfelt assistance in transporting Harley, a two-legged dog, from Arizona to her forever home in Indiana.
The couple stepped in to help sports photographer Mark Rebilas and his wife, who works for Sky Sanctuary Rescue, after the pair fostered Harley for five months.
Rebilas said “Huge thank you to Tony Stewart and Leah Pruett for helping my wife who works for Sky Sanctuary Rescue and I transport Harley, a two legged dog we’ve fostered for the past five months, from Arizona to her forever home in Indiana.”
This act of compassion highlights Stewart and Pruett’s commitment to animal welfare, adding a heartwarming chapter to their public personas beyond the racetrack.
