Bonne Terre, MO – JJ Da Boss’s daughter, WeeWee, is shaken but safe following a crash at the Bonne Terre Dragstrip during a recent racing event. The young racer, part of the former “Street Outlaws” family, escaped serious injury but is nursing some bumps and bruises.
JJ Da Boss, the patriarch of the Memphis racing crew, shared an update on his daughter’s condition, saying, “Hey, she’s a little bummed up, little bruised up, but she’s here.” Relief was evident in his voice as he expressed gratitude that WeeWee walked away from the incident.

The crash has prompted JJ to reconsider his family’s involvement in the high-stakes world of outlaw racing. “I don’t think I want my kids to race, not this kind of racing ‘outlaw’ that we do,” he admitted, reflecting on the dangers of the sport they’ve built their name on.

JJ also extended thanks to the Bonne Terre Dragstrip, its new owners, and fellow racer Brian Britt, whose skilled driving helped prevent a more severe collision. The dragstrip’s staff and safety measures were praised for their role in keeping the situation under control.
As WeeWee recovers, the Da Boss family is taking a moment to regroup, with JJ’s words serving as a reminder of the risks and rewards of life on the track.
