Tricia Musi roared into the spotlight at Edmund Hall’s Memorial Day Shootout, debuting her sleek new-to-her Pro Mod with a stunning career-best 3.78-second pass in the semi-finals. The impressive run showcased her team’s ability and the potential of her new ride, leaving the crowd here at Montgomery in awe.
In a heartfelt moment, Tricia dedicated her stellar performance to her late sister, Lizzy, saying, “This one’s for you, Lizzy. Rest in peace.”
Tricia announced last week that her fiancé Mike, Bankston Racing Team owner, had purchased Ralph Edelen’s Championship Camaro to join the team and his team was assisting with the tuning.
Mike Bankston said “I purchased this car for our dreams as a couple to come true, and it has been a true dream come true for us.”
“Tricia is doing a great job and I’m proud of her and my team.”
Ralph said “Robert Hayes, Pat Musi Horsepower, if you know, you know.”
Despite a demanding schedule between rounds, Tricia remained a fan favorite, carving out time to connect with supporters, sign autographs, and share her passion for racing.
Her down-to-earth demeanor only added to the admiration from the stands.
Now, Tricia is set to face off against her teammate, Kyle Megginson, in what promises to be an epic final round. With momentum on her side and Lizzy’s memory fueling her drive, all eyes will be on Musi as she chases that win at the Memorial Day Shootout.
Tricia thanked her husband Mike, Bankston Racing, Robert Hayes, her mom, dad Pat Musi, and everyone for the support.
