NHRA Pro Stock was the highlight of Bristol Dragway’s action last weekend, delivering a weekend packed with triumphs and tensions.

Greg Anderson, the Pro Stock legend, not only clinched the race victory but also celebrated his monumental one-thousandth round win, joining John Force as the only NHRA drivers to hit this mark. The crowd went wild as Anderson’s KB Titan Racing-powered Camaro outran teammate Dallas Glenn in the final, cementing his place in drag racing history.

But the spotlight wasn’t all celebratory—things got heated between Anderson’s team and Elite Motorsports. A controversial moment on the starting line sparked friction, with Elite’s Erica Enders facing a points deduction and fine after her car was found with prohibited beadlock liner wheels.
On a recent Wes Buck Show, Anderson broke down the starting line drama, explaining the intensity and missteps that fueled the rivalry. Bristol’s high-stakes chaos proved Pro Stock is as fiery as ever. What a weekend.
Anderson said “When one team continues to to go on a heater and win, the other teams get completely frustrated. I’ve seen that going all year. That stuff’s gonna happen.
“Once things get said to your crew members and your family members, they take it a little more personal. That’s what you saw happen this weekend.”
“They weren’t politicians like if you’re supposed to be, and they snapped. But but I’m alright with that. I’m a 100% alright with that, and and, you know, nobody got hurt.”
