******UPDATE ON DISCO DEAN********

Thank you Jesse Adams for the update. We are very glad that our friend Disco Dean walked away and is ok after his crash.

Here’s the update posted by Jesse. Disco Dean is OK. Here’s a copy of the text messages he received.

“Moved around a little. Lifted. 0% throttle and the engine deceleration locked the back tires like on ice since the track is so slick. Just slid every which way but straight”

“I was short with people on a lot of replies today. I’m sure you all get it.
We put so much time, effort, and personal sacrifice into this that watching the best car we’ve ever had turn into a pile of rubble just sucks.”

“The worst part is…..the only reason the car crashed is because there wasn’t enough traction in 2nd gear to handle the deceleration of the drive train. Dean did it right. He didn’t force something that was out of control, it moved right, he was ahead, he lifted. It was 200 feet after that it just slid out from under him. It happened to Ryan in Australia, it’s how the Caddi got banged up 2 years ago too.” – Jesse

Safety crew did a great job.

Thank you Jesse Adams for the update
