Ken Black was a pivotal figure in NHRA Pro Stock racing, transforming his passion for drag racing into a powerhouse legacy through KB Racing. Starting as a local racer in Las Vegas, he built a successful construction business that funded his racing endeavors, leading to the formation of KB Racing in 2002 with his son Kenny. Under his leadership, the team dominated with drivers like Greg Anderson, securing multiple championships and establishing an unmatched engine program.

A devoted family man and philanthropist, Black’s influence extended beyond the track, earning him a place in the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame and the admiration of the racing community.
