A public notice posted in Banks County, Georgia, confirms an application has been filed seeking conditional use approval for a racetrack on property zoned C2 General Commercial. The proposal will be reviewed during two public hearings — first by the Planning Commission on February 3, 2026, followed by the Board of Commissioners on February 10, 2026. Both meetings will be held at the Courthouse Annex in Homer, Georgia.

If approved, the project could mark a major step toward bringing motorsports activity to the area, creating new opportunities for racers, fans, and the local community.

DragCoverage will be in attendance to cover the hearings and provide updates as this potential racetrack project continues to develop.
