Gadson finished the regular season No. 1 in points, earning the top seed and bonus points heading into the Countdown to the Championship. The overall NHRA world championship will now be decided during the six-race playoff.
It was also a strong weekend for Vance & Hines Motorsports at the NHRA U.S. Nationals, as both Gadson and Gaige Herrera raced into the semifinals at The Big Go.
Now the battle for the world championship begins!
