We picked up the truck!!! They took the $4,500!!! Meet “Blue Angel” Barn Find — Part Two
Our Mississippi barn find officially has a name: Blue Angel! We believe Angels save people and we’ve saved this truck from the barn.
In Part One, we introduced the forgotten truck we spotted on Facebook Marketplace and asked readers to help name it. We offered $4,500, the seller said yes, and we headed to Picayune, Mississippi, to bring it home.
The truck was sitting under a barn with weeds growing through it and the driver’s door off. It needed attention, but we saw the makings of a future bracket racer for the DragCoverage fleet.
We loaded Blue Angel onto the trailer and took it to Dad’s place, where the rebuild process begins.
The seat was full of parts, air tank, and other old race parts!
There’s plenty of work ahead before this truck trades weeds for the track, and we’re bringing you along for the whole journey.

The name is settled. Now it’s time to work!
