Bobby Stephenson’s Stacker Trailer Found at Campground 8 hours after Stolen; AirTag Did Not Help

Pennsylvania — The power of facebook was shown yesterday after 1,200 shares lead Bobby Stephenson to his stolen Stacker Trailer. Stephenson woke on Saturday to his trailer missing from his Wilmington, DE shop and quickly reported it being stolen on facebook between the hours of 10:30 PM and 3AM.

Within 8 hours, his post had over a thousand shares which led to a message leading Stephenson to a campground. He received a call from someone that was winterizing their RV at a campground and saw the stacker just outside the entrance. He arrived on the scene and it was his trailer that was missing.

Stephenson is still not exactly sure who stole it but reports say the police have a warrant out for the suspect. He was quick to thank the facebook family for helping him hunt down his belongings.
When he retrieved the trailer, a generator, tools, and miscellaneous items were missing but the race cars and golf cart is ok.

DragCoverage has received several messages of trailers being stolen this season. Now is a good time to acquire Motorsports insurance or a tracking device to track your trailer.

Stephenson did have an AirTag but stated that it could not be used for live tracing. He is currently shopping for a tracking device and has found different options.
