Matt Stutzman, known to many as the \u201cArmless Archer,\u201d isn\u2019t just redefining archery\u2014he\u2019s carving his name into drag racing history as well. With upgrades, new partnerships, and exciting goals for 2026, Stutzman is poised to make this a milestone year in his motorsports journey.<\/p>\n

\nAfter a breakout 2025 season, Matt has been hard at work in the shop. He\u2019s completely redone the rear end of his car, teamed up with Darren from DMPE Blowes, and added over 200 horsepower to his ride. \u201cWe\u2019re coming out this year trying to be consistent,\u201d Stutzman says. \u201cThe ultimate goal is to win a Wally, and everything we\u2019re doing is pointing toward that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stutzman\u2019s 2026 schedule is focused and ambitious: he\u2019ll skip the divisionals to concentrate on 4\u20135 major national events, including Chicago and Indy, aiming to qualify in the top five of the Top Sportsman class. With full electronics upgrades, including a new FuelTech system, and goals of over 220 mph and a 6.15-second quarter-mile, Matt is pushing his car\u2014and himself\u2014to new limits.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not just about drag racing. Stutzman is also exploring circle track racing this year.\u201cI\u2019m super excited for circle track racing,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s a new challenge, and I can\u2019t wait to get out there.\u201d His enthusiasm for trying something different mirrors his approach to life: breaking barriers, chasing dreams, and making meaningful connections along the way.<\/p>\n

Matt emphasizes the community aspect of racing as much as the competition. Last year was a season of friendship and collaboration for him. \u201cThe best part of this sport is the people you meet along the way,\u201d he says. \u201cYou dream of racing, you dream of driving for a pro team, but what keeps you going are the friends and the support you build in the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

As he looks ahead to 2027, Stutzman has his sights set on Promod racing, but for now, his focus is clear: chase a Wally at a national event, dominate Top Sportsman, explore new territory on the circle track, and continue inspiring fans and fellow racers alike.<\/p>\n
