I\u2019ve personally seen brand-new <strong data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"284\">rolling junior dragsters listed north of $20,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"367\">Yes. I\u2019m broke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3348\" data-end=\"3400\">And the funny part is\u2026 both people probably mean it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3402\" data-end=\"3472\">Because this sport has a way of making almost everyone feel stretched.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3474\" data-end=\"3563\">You can make good money and still feel like racing drains it faster than you can earn it.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3570\" data-end=\"3594\">So What\u2019s the Future?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3596\" data-end=\"3613\">Here\u2019s the truth:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3615\" data-end=\"3644\">I don\u2019t have all the answers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"3803\">This isn\u2019t a doom-and-gloom piece. It\u2019s not a statistics breakdown. It\u2019s not meant to point fingers at chassis builders, parts manufacturers, or engine guys.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3805\" data-end=\"3902\">Costs are up everywhere \u2014 materials, labor, shipping, insurance.
