Isaac Preston “Frankenstein” Wins $27,000 at Largest Pad Wars After Cops Shut Down Race Twice; 90 Cars in Competition

New Orleans, LA — The third time was a charm for the Pad Wars at “da Pad” in New Orleans, known as the largest street race in the country. Over 90 entries signed up for the race that paid a total of $27,000.

On Sunday morning, December 31st – New Years Eve, the event was shut down by a mob of Police Officers. The host moved the race 5 miles down the street to “The Five” location, where it was shut down after 4 pair went down.

Finally, after the last and final attempt to complete the race, competitors went back to “da Pad” at 1:30 AM and managed to complete the race at 10:30 AM on New Years Day. 25-30 racers left after the first attempt was shut down by police officers.

Isaac Preston in the Frankenstein Corvette took the win over Tommy 2 Gunns’ Ford Falcon in the final round, taking home $27,000 back to Caneyville Kentucky.
