TB Promotions Acquires VERGE Quick Outlaw Series Just Days after It Suspended Operations

THE VERGE QUICK OUTLAW SERIES RETURNS!

On Wednesday, DragCoverage announced the end of the Verge Quick Outlaw Series. Many of us were shocked the other day of the news of the Verge Quick Outlaw Series suspending operations for the 2024 season.

The series was created in 2020 and quickly became known as the premier series for the 4.70 Door Car and 4.50 Dragster index racers.

The TB Promotions team has announced that starting immediately, TB Promotions will acquire the Verge Quick Outlaw Series!

Jeffrey Walls spent many years building the series up to where it is today and the TB

Promotions team is going to continue those strides in the 2024 season, and beyond.

“I could not be more excited for this new avenue opening up for TB Promotions. Brian and I have talked multiple times about other ways to expand the industry and serve a larger customer base. When I saw the announcement that Jeff was stepping away from the series, all I thought about was that group of racers losing their core form of racing. It was an easy decision to reach out and see what we could make happen. Brian and I look forward to experimenting with new things, continuing an amazing product and series, meeting new faces, and giving them the TB Promotions experience’ in the Verge Quick Outlaw Series!” – Tyler Bohannon

The up and coming series will visit several tracks this year, including London Dragway, Beech Bend Raceway Park, US 60 Dragway, and another track that will be announced soon.

The series will also feature a year-end points series in 4.50 Dragster index, 4.70 Door Car index, and junior dragster categories.

It is no secret that the Verge family has been built throughout this series and we hope to continue that for many years to come. Our team is looking forward to joining the index racing scene and seeing how we can build the series to something even bigger and better than where it stands today.

“It is with overwhelming gratitude that Tyler and Brian share the vision that I have for index racing and racer appreciation. I fully trust in them to carry the Verge name forward with honor, while continuing to grow the series and deliver quality events. They already share a love for the racers that I have and are best fit to carry the torch from here.” – Jeffrey Walls

We will be in contact with current marketing partners in the days to come, and we are currently seeking additional partners for the 2024 season!

The TB Promotions team is very excited for the opportunity with the Verge Quick Outlaw Series, and we are looking forward to beginning the 2024 season very soon!
