Will Smith’s “The Man in Black” Monza Build

Tuscaloosa, Al – Once in a while, you run into a drag car build that catches your eye while surfing. Will Smith’s 1979 Monza did just that for DragCoverage.com. The Marketing and promotions coordinator for PDRA has been working on this project in his spare time and the final project is a masterpiece.

The 1979 Small block powered Monza was painted by Larry Englebert at Riggs Body Shop. The fabwork was completed by Roy Bayliss.  The ignition system is powered by K&R Performance and MSD. The project took nearly three years to complete.
