First ever “Shot Clock” in Drag Racing. 60 Seconds to Burnout and Stage or Disqualified

All you slow-staging racers, the pressure is on!

After an event was not completed due to time constraints and curfews, Jake Hodge and Final Call Promotions is implementing the first-ever “Shot Clock” in Drag Racing, specifically Bracket Racing. Kil-Kare racing is onboard and the shot clock will even be shown on the LIVE Feed.

So, how does it work? The 60-second “Shot Clock” will begin when the pair on the starting line crosses the finish line. If the shot-clock reaches 0 while one or both competitors are not fully staged, the tree will be activated. The car(s) not staged will be disqualified.

Hodge reiterated that this rule is not to punish any racer, but an initiative to complete events with demanding curfews.
