Steele, AL — Alabama International Dragway in Steele, AL is giving what the racers asked for and that’s a season full of big dollar bracket racing. Track owner Jason Collins announced last week that the track will be hosting a 2-day bracket race to celebrate Independence Day this weekend July 1-2 with $10,000 to win on Saturday and $5,000 to win on Sunday in the Super Pro class and $2,000 to win in Footbrake. The event will also feature $500 to win in Jr.Dragster.
Earlier this year the track announced that it has joined the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) sanction and will be hosting the 2023 Bracket Finals.
