FEATURE: Eric “Big Gun” Yost’s “Rusted Out” 1968 Camaro is Bad-to-the-Bone

Mooresville, NC (Photos by Danny Stogner) — While browsing through DragCoverage photographer Danny Stogner’s photos and goofing off, I ran across this “exotic” Camaro in the Shady Side Dragway gallery.  This has to be one of the wildest Camaro’s that I have ever seen. Eric Yost has done a great job assembling this one-of-a-kind masterpiece which has been a best elapsed time of 4.90, 151 mph.

Yost currently runs Dragweek and Rocky Mountain Race Week. This hotrod has two trims; 374 Cubic Inch Motor with 91mm Turbos and a 352 Cubic Inch with 76mm turbo, which can be used in Ultra Street and True Street.

The beast also features Big Stuff Ignition, Leaf Stpring Rear, Stock Front Sub Frame, and the control arms and fabrication work was completed at “Customs by BigGun.”

Other highlights Include: USA Performance Parts, Billet Atomizer Injectors, JESEL, Big Stuff 3, JRI Shocks, TBM Brakes, HEd motors, WORK Turbocharger, and BorgWarner (Airwerks) Turbocharger.
