DragCoverage Feature: Larry Martin’s 1967 Camaro

Fultondale, AL — We see a lot of beautiful cars at DragCoverage and there are some cars that make us take a double-take. Larry Martin’s 1967 Camaro is one of them. This big block chevy powered 1st Gen is a 4.70 Index Hot Rod (in the 1/8th mile) and what’s even more impressive is that it’s home built.

That’s right, Martin from Fultondale, AL built this car in his backyard. Technically, his garage, but backyard sounds cooler.

The body on the car, once red, has been in competition for many years, winning multiple big-dollar races, and Martin decided to strip the body off and build an entire new chassis that can handle big horsepower.

When asking Martin about the build, he is quick to thank Roy Bayliss for playing a major role in completing the build.

Look out for Martin’s 1967 Camaro and tell him you saw it on DragCoverage!
