Spitzer Enterprises Closes the Doors after 53 Years of Business

Greenfield, IN — Growing up, when I thought of chassis builders in the world of Drag Racing, Spitzer Race Cars was the first that came to mind when it came to elite craftsmanship and going fast. Today, the owner’s of Spitzer Enterprises announced that they will be retiring after 53 years. DragCoverage would like to wish Mike and Karen success during their retirement. Thank you for making a difference in the world of drag racing and leading the industry in innovation.

Spitzer Enterprises said “After 53 years of serving the racing community, Mike and Karen have decided to retire. They have enjoyed building cars and meeting people from all over the world. The final day of closing will be in 8 to 10 weeks.”

“There will be an auction for equipment, tooling, parts, memorabilia, and the building. Schedule for the auction will be listed on facebook when the date is set.
