Clarklake, MI – The 2023 M/T Million Dollar Race Winner and 2023 WDRA No-Box World Champion Donnie Hagar has purchased him a 2013 Diesel Truck and an enclosed trailer. Those that have followed Donnie’s story will understand how important this is to the young racer who was the first no-box racer in history to win a Million Dollar Drag Race.
Donnie broke the internet after his historic win back in September, the 28th Annual Million Dollar Race Winner. What made the win so impressive was the fact that Donnie is a no-box racer who saved up to enter the event in his vega, towed by a Silverado with 300,000 miles and an open trailer.
Hagar brought a tent with him to sleep amongst the large trailers surrounding him.
Hagar’s team, Phil Veldheer Racing, ensured the fans that Donnie will be keeping the old truck and open trailer as well. Hagar first purchased the Silverado truck 7 years ago for $700 and entered it into competition. This was the start of Hagar’s successful racing career.
