Memphis, TN – One of the biggest bracket races to hit the South is slated to kick off on June 26th at Memphis International Raceway. Folk Cummings Racing presents the 3rd Annual American Race Cars Memphis 25K Showdowns, presented by Vintage Trailers. This “big buck” bracket race features a $10,000 & $25,000 to win race on Friday, $25,000 to win on Saturday, and $10,000 to win on Sunday. After three days of racing, prizes will be awarded to the top five point’s leaders.
To top of this elite event, Folk Cummings Racing will be hosting an FTI Racer Appreciation Party on Saturday night.
The event also features a 32-Car Shootout on Saturday, with the winner getting the choice of a new American Dragster or a 28’ Vintage Enclosed Trailer. The runner-up will get the remaining prize, while the semi-finalists will cash in $1,000. These payouts and prizes make this experience one of Drag Racing’s highest paying events.
The 2014 American Race Cars 25k Showdown Champions include Jesse Rogers, Peeps Pennington, and Troy Williams. As we approach the 3rd Annual Memphis 25K Showdowns, anticipation is starting to build. Who will be the next four champions crowned?
