Shane Martin’s Wild X275 Crash Video from Brainerd Optimist Dragstrip

Ringgold, GA — Shane Martin went for a wild ride this past weekend at Brainerd Optimist Drag Strip when he lost control of his beautful X27 Turbo Powered Mustang. Martin was off to a good launch but lost control and slammed into the right guard rail.

According to sources, Martin is fine and his spirits are high. The car wiwll need a front clip, 1/4 panel, and a door. They believe the reason it darted was a resultl of a bent antiroll bar arm. The driver states that he was out of the gas and the car steered itself hard once it set the wheel down. Video timing and the data log line up pretty good to confirm that, according to the source.

The car is being rebuilt and we wish him a speedy return.
