One of my favorite classes to watch in drag racing is a series called the Southern Nitrous Racing Association, also known as SNRA. The organization features some of the South’s best Nitrous Promod racers and enters its tenth season this weekend at the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) at South Georgia Motorsports Park. That’s right, 10 years!
The last season wrapped up in 2023 with Kyle Megginson and the Bankston Boys taking home the championship.
I may be biased, but as I’ve said multiple times in the past, the SNRA is one of my favorite classes to watch in drag racing. Not only has it been around for nearly a decade, but it is one of the most competitive points chases that I have seen. There were over 20 Nitrous Cars at the DragCoverage Fall Revenge in November so not only is has the association been around a long time, the participation is strong and consistent.
Besides that, who doesn’t like gorilla flames and nitrous purge?
This year, DragCoverage will be covering the entire series, featuring the drivers, and highlighting the points chase for the association.
