Atmore Dragway’s 2015 Champions have been crowned and the year is in the books. After a full season of points races, battled against weather and other obstacles, there were three drivers that stood on top. Zach Jernigan, Robert Vance, and Evan Johnson were crowned the 2015 Champions.
In Super Pro, it was Zach Jernigan who was crowned the track champion. Zach came only a round short from also winning the Montgomery Motorsports Park track champion this year. Jernigan added several big dollar victories this year to his resume, including a big pay day at the Cars Protection Plus Million Dollar Race. Julius Pruitt of Bay Minette, AL was the runner-up in the points championship.
In the no-box category, the Vance brothers from Mobile, AL dominated the field with Robert Vance winning the points championship and his brother John Vance was the second place competitor.
Evan Johnson was crowned the Jr. Dragster Champion and Chase Flynn was runner-up.
Moon’s Barbecue of Atmore, AL was recognized during the event and catered the banquet.
