Woodstock, AL — I’ll be honest, winning King of the Beach at Holiday Beach Raceway in Woodstock, AL is on my bucket list of things to accomplish. Bracket Racers in Central, AL understand the significance and honor in winning what has become a tradition at this Drag strip that has so much history. I’ve tried for years myself and although I’ve won an event at Holiday (felt like I won the lottery) I’ve never been crowned “King of the Beach.”
“King of the Beach” pays a good purse and you win a trophy that seems to be 6′ tall. But, that’s not what you’re really racing for. You are racing for the title, recognition, and bragging rights for an entire year. The value in that is worth more than anything. And, winning at Holiday Beach is no easy task.
On September 10, 2022 the track hosted its 100th something King of the Beach (I’m kidding I don’t know the number of years). The 2022 champions were crowned and listed below. Congratulations to all winners from Team DragCoverage
